GINGERBLATT

// APP DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN

An online user focused database obstacle race calendar app.

We built, designed and maintained it for our client since 2016. We are currently maintaining and improving it.

4.7+ rating on both app stores.

Complex database syncing, user account, usage analytics, and built in moderation.

Infrastructure built to deploy to web and mobile through same code base.

OFFROAD: DEAD PLANET

RUNE TURTLE - BLINDHACK

// VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN

A 3D physics intensive offroad video game for Desktop PC.

We designed and built a base vehicle and offroading engine utilizing Unity. We are currently completing it.

Complex dynamic ground, vehicle physics and advanced vehicle component & damage simulation.

Full design and execution of 3D/2D art, user interface, gameplay mechanics, physics and simulation.

VR TILTBRUSH COMMERCIAL

MOTION PICTURE COMPANY - GOOGLE

// VIRTUAL REALITY CUSTOM SHADERS & MAYA SCRIPTING

Rendering shaders and maya scripting for commercial and on production set support for VR software/hardware.

We worked with a team to develop the needed rendering technology to record and produce a commercial for Google's TiltBrush VR game.

Write Virtual Reality rendering shaders to produce the desired visual effects in alignment with the producers vision.

Develop scripts to bring live VR movements while on set into a renderable 3D space to composite for final visual effects.

Provide on set hardware and software support for the VR technology aspect of the production.

LOO LOO'S ALPHABET LEARNING APP

WHISPER PRODUCTIONS

// CHILDREN'S ALPHABET LEARNING APP

A children's early alphabet learning app developed to dynamically adapt to a child's specific needs.

We developed and maintained the app across multiple platforms.

Developed a dynamic teaching system to provide a gentle upwards trend of complexity, guiding a specific child's learning. Specifically paying attention to response times, answer patterns and reproducibility of answers.

Work with a team to get the app into a university study & to conduct that study, to establish published educational benefits.

Assist in testing the app live with children at a variety of events and schools.

TIC STAC TOE

SUSPECT

// MULTIPLAYER APP GAME DEVELOPMENT

3D game app development & design, particularly of the multiplayer aspect, as well as website support.

We worked with a team to develop the Tic Stac Toe digital version from a prototype into a fully multiplayer competitive ranked game.

Design, develop and implement key multiplayer features such as live play, a ranking system, an asynchronous turn system and AI to jumpstart a low starting player base.

Work with existing team members to develop the interface and core gameplay.

Code the underlying networking and develop a server to handle accounts, live play, chat and global ranking, across multiple platforms.

Update art assets over time & develop new features and fix issues that arose after launch.

Provide web support for social media marketing campaigns involving dynamic image generation designed for social sharing.

While we participated in the creation of the game's app for iOS & Android, it is no longer available. However, a physical version is still active. The website linked is the current site and the video linked includes gameplay of the app we helped develop.

BUSINESS AUTOMATION

American Aeronautic MFG Co.

// INTERNAL BUSINESS PROCESS AUTOMATION

Hook into the existing infrastructure of spreadsheet organization and provide an enhanced automation via scripting.

We worked directly with the team to first understand and then take their existing system and enhance it utilizing scripting.

Develop functionality in their organizational spreadsheets to enhance their daily workflow and management abilities, eliminating costly errors.

Assist in bringing what was a messy paper system into a more organized, reliable, but light solution without developing an entire software ecosystem.

Provide support and maintenance during testing and initial use stages.

SHEPHERD SLAUGHTER

// RETRO ROGUELIKE VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT

2D game development & design, with a deeply retro inspired feel and vision

Our first released game, development and release of this game coincided with the founding of our company. We're particularly fond of this one.

Built a top down procedurally generated adventure game full of monsters, items, dungeons and a giant boss fortress.

Written in Python utilizing SDL2 and sped up through use of cython and other c++ optimizations. An early, wild project.

Cataloged into the Rogue Basin & Internet Archive to be memorialized for eternity as one of the many early 2000s roguelike indie games.

Released to online distribution platforms that no longer exist. Will we re-release it for modern platforms? Hm...
